Dedicated to Safety of our Children

Hasbrouck Heights continues to work hard to set the standard for school safety.  In constant communication with all of the town's schools, administration and staff continue to assess and improve safety plans.  Monthly drills and town wide meetings are constantly conducted.  An initiative to set unified protocols throughout the town continues to be implemented.  Training is a must and has been a priority for the officers.

Corpus Christi School is in good hands with the dedicated men and women of Hasbrouck Heights Police and Fire departments.
 

EXPECTATIONS
- We open the main school doors at 7:40AM every morning. (Rain or Shine)
- We open the preschool school doors at 8:00AM every morning. (Rain or Shine)
- Kipp Avenue is turned into a one way street going towards Boulevard.  Please plan your route accordingly.
- All students enter through their school's main entrance doors.

DROPPING OFF
- You can pull up to the main entrance to drop off your child as long as the parent does not have to step out of the vehicle to assist the child exiting the car.
- Your child must exit the passenger side of your vehicle.  NO EXCEPTIONS!
- If you must step out of your vehicle to assist your child, you will need to drive past the main entrance to the set of red doors on Kipp Avenue to avoid holding up others. Please do not walk your child to the entrance doors from that location.
- If you want to accompany your child to the entrance doors, please park on the street or in one of the main school lots.  Do NOT DOUBLE PARK or park in the VALLEY BANK parking lot or the ORADELL VETERINARY OFFICE parking lot!  They WILL ticket you!

PICKUP
- Grades 1-4 can be picked up at dismissal in the small parking on the corner of Kipp Avenue and Boulevard.  Kindergarten and Grades 5-8 will need to be picked up at at the main school entrance doors on Kipp. Avenue.
- You are able to park on the street or in the large school lot.

FOR DROP OFF AND PICK UP FOR THE PRESCHOOL 
- Please park on the street or in one of the main school lots. 
- Drop off and Pick Up occurs at the main preschool entrance doors
- Do NOT DOUBLE PARK or park in the VALLEY BANK parking lot or the ORADELL VETERINARY OFFICE parking lot!  They WILL ticket you!

Please be mindful of the following as it pertains to parking in our large Kipp Ave parking lot for drop off and pickup:

• You must honor the yellow Enter and Exit arrows located on the floor at the gate openings.  We have had some complaints of people exiting through the entrance side and entering through the exit side.  Please be mindful of this so we can maintain a steady flow and avoid any accidents or collisions.
• When parking, please only take up one parking space.  There have been a few complaints about certain cars parking in between two spots or in areas not designated as parking spots.  Several families park in order to drop off or pick up their children.  We want to be able to safely fit as many cars as can be allotted.
• Please be mindful of students and parents walking on the sidewalk and in the parking lot while your vehicle is in motion.  Remember the goal is to keep everyone safe.
• Also, remember not to park in Veterinary and bank parking lots.  Your car will be ticketed and/or towed
