Each month the students of Corpus Christi school participate in a Spirit Day dress down day. Students are permitted to dress according to the designated color of the month for $1.
Students also participate events throughout the year including a Walk for Diabetes in November. All proceeds raised go to a specific charity. Each month a new charity is selected. Including walks and other school events, Corpus Christi School has raised over $5,000 this year for various Charitable foundations.
Corpus Christi School is constantly participating in donations, events and outreach programs where we have the chance to give back. This school year alone, the students have already participated in a walk for juvenile diabetes, several food drives during Thanksgiving, clothing drives during Christmas, a toy drive for Tomorrow's Children Fund in Hackensack and raising money for charitable foundations and St. Jude's Hospital.
Corpus Christi School was also recognized as a winner of the 2020 Rubicon Trick or Trash program aimed at recycling Halloween candy wrappers and helping to improve the environment. They are currently participating in a collection of Christmas wrapping paper as well.
"The Catholic school's proper function is to create for the school community a special atmosphere animated by the Gospel spirit of freedom and charity, to help youth grow accoriding to the new creatures they were made through baptism as they develp their own personalities, and finally to order the whole of human culture to the news of salvation so that the knowledge the students gradually acquire of the world, life and man is illuminated by faith."
His Holiness Pope Paul VI,
